Deployments
Create a deployment from an active subscription to run your applications, optionally restoring data from an existing backup.
Requirements
You need at least one subscription in a state that allows new deployments. If you have not subscribed yet, start with Subscriptions.
Create a deployment
Go to Deployments and open the create flow. Pick the subscription that should own this deployment and complete any fields the form asks for (such as hostname where applicable).
Restore from backup (optional)
While creating a deployment, you may see Restore from backup. If you select a backup instead of starting from a new empty volume, the deployment is created with a volume restored from that backup. If no backups are listed, create one first from Storage or Backups (see Backups).
After creation
New deployments may show a creating state until infrastructure is ready. When the deployment is active, use the dashboard links to open your applications or manage resources attached to that deployment.
Restore an existing deployment
To recover data without recreating the whole deployment from scratch, use the restore action from the Backups page against a backup that matches your needs. Details are in the Backups guide.
