Managed Nextcloud and WordPress hosting in the EU: what you get, where your data lives and how billing works.
Perch Platform Limited is an Irish company that runs open-source applications for you on EU servers: Nextcloud with Collabora Office, WordPress, and Forgejo with Woodpecker CI. You choose an app and a plan; we install, update and back it up; you pay one flat monthly price.
Your instance, its data and its backups are hosted by Hetzner in Germany and Finland and stay in the EU. Billing data is processed by Stripe, which may transfer it outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses — our privacy policy explains this.
Perch is EU-hosted and built for GDPR. Our Data Processing Agreement applies automatically when you subscribe and sets out our obligations as your processor under Article 28. Compliance also depends on how you use the service — you remain the controller of the personal data in your instance.
Managed Nextcloud covers file sync and sharing, document editing (Collabora Office), calendars, contacts, chat and video calls — on your own instance in the EU, with no per-user fees.
Yes. Files can be uploaded or synced with the Nextcloud desktop app, and calendars and contacts can be exported from Google or Microsoft and imported into Nextcloud. Email us if you'd like help planning the move.
Yes. Managed WordPress runs on EU servers with core updates, daily backups and SSL handled for you. Your site's visitor data stays in the EU too.
WordPress and Forgejo plans start at €12/month and Nextcloud at €20/month, with unlimited users on every plan. No VAT is charged — Perch Platform Ltd is not VAT-registered.
Every instance is backed up daily. Backups are encrypted, stored separately from your server and kept for 7 days. You can restore from your dashboard. We still recommend keeping your own copies of anything important.
Yes. Every instance gets a Perch subdomain, and you can point your own domain at it by updating your DNS. Our docs show how.

Yes, from your dashboard or by email. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. After your subscription ends we keep one final backup for 30 days, so you can come back or export your data, and then delete it permanently. Consumers also have a 14-day right to cancel — see our Terms.
Yes. Each subscription is its own instance with its own monthly price, all managed from one dashboard at app.perchplatform.com.
Your Forgejo instance runs on its own virtual server in the EU, served over TLS and backed up daily with encrypted backups. The API is compatible with common GitHub tooling.
