What we do to protect the data you trust us with — written to be accurate rather than impressive.
Where your data is
Your instance, the data in it and its backups are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany and Finland, and do not leave the EU. Hetzner’s data centres in Germany and Finland are certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Billing is handled by Stripe, which may transfer billing data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses — see our privacy policy.
Your own instance
Each customer instance runs on its own virtual server, with its own application, database and credentials.
Encryption
All traffic to your instance uses TLS, with certificates issued and renewed automatically. Backups are encrypted before they leave your server.
Backups
Daily, stored separately from your server, and kept for 7 days. You can restore from your dashboard. Backups are for recovering the service — keep your own copies of anything important too.
No tracking
No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking on this website or in the dashboard.

Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) for hosting, and Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland) for payments. The full list and terms are in our Data Processing Agreement.
